Nemesis looked back at the darkened lake as she crossed the borderlines into unclaimed territory. It had been a while since she stepped foot onto the island, so long ago. She had only been a mere pup, but now she was stronger. just like the land around her, her mind had darkened. Slowly but surely, her consciousness slipped, the essence of darkness embedded in her mind expanding until it fulled up her vision. The words of Nyx resonated in her skull, a memory of a vision brought to her some nights ago.
" Dark Pack...Blood Moon...Bring...back...Darkness "
Too much light. The scales were unbalanced. Darkness, yes, darkness was needed. But blood moon was so -cliche. Crimson...that was better. Crimson...Crimson Hollow. Yes.
She padded silently through the wasteland that had once been futile and vibrant, for a fire had swept through the island's south, rendering it lifeless. Ash, grey and limp, was pulled from the ground by a winds, and swirled around her coat. Ravine's and dry gullies streaked through the moor, and the bones of one impressive trees rattled with sorrow. Still, she moved on, a gleam in her eye as she felt a tug in her gut to the new location of the Dark Pack- Crimson Hollow.

No
Calea stared down at her daughter, eyes stern. "But-"Silencing Akelia with a glare, Calea crossed the borderline with barley a glance back. Her eyes betrayed the troubled feelings she felt, for one of her most loyal packmates had vanished. Nemesis had been there from the start, and now she was-gone. To be honest, she had seemed rather withdrawn the past couple weeks. Now she was angered that she had never said anything, never asked about her packmate. Was this her fault? Head lowered, Calea loped quickly in the direction that Nemesis's trail led.
Hours later, Calea had heard nor seen any sign of the dark-pelted fae. The evening chill bit at her bones, and tiredness dragged at her paws. Her head was raised and her ears were pricked, for she had entered the southern part of the island. Ash swirled through the air, it's horrible scent clouded all others, including Nemesis's, making her trail harder and harder to follow. Calea coughed, her throat sore from the smoke that still blanketed the land.

Growling, Nemesis came to a stop. Just up ahead she could see the outline of someone she once knew. Calea. Dumb bitch, she muttered. To think that she had been affiliated with such a wolf was embarrassing. Calea was all in all a good soul. And that was a problem for Nemesis. She was too light, too kind. If she saw her, there would be no shaking her off. She didn't know how Calea would react to seeing her after all this time. After all, Nemesis didn't leave on a good note.
But it would be interesting to get the girl wound up, assuming she wasn't going to be all "I missed you so much! Stay with me forever" . Anything to annoy the fae to her misery. Slowly stalking forward, she smirked. "Long time no see, friend" It would be no surprise if Calea didn't recognise her, even to herself she looked different. Something dark had embedded itself in her soul and body. But Calea still looked as stupid as ever with her long dopey face that looked as though she was mentally drooling. Perhaps she is sharing her soul with a walrus, she laughed to herself. Wouldn't be a surprise, she did have a thing for large, fat sea creatures, if she could remember.

Calea was starting to get a little annoyed. She suspected that Nemesis would be here, the south was one one of the only places she hadn't searched in the past few weeks. Ash settle in her fur and got in her eyes and mouth, she hated it here.
"Long time no see, friend"
A snarky voice called out from behind. Calea stopped dead, her ears pricked. Slowly she turned around, to see..."Nemesis?" She stared at her former packmate in mild shock. She fae she knew was replaced by one with dark eyes and a rigid stance, cold and with no sign of warmth in her 'greeting'. Warily, Calea stepped forward. "Nemesis..." she began, staring into her friends now cold eyes. What had happened?

Nemesis snarled, locking her cold eyes on the girl as Calea stepped forward.
"Don't! Just don't come any closer. I don't want to be seen with you never the less be anywhere near you" She spat, cold heartedly as the girl stepped forward again. From the look of Calea's expression, she was deeply confused. Nemesis laughed at the thought. "You must wonder where iv'e been, why i've changed" She stared in amusement. "You see, i've been doing some.. soul searching, I guess you could say. And i've come to the conclusion that there is no space for you and your kind in this world. In my world. All ties I have with you are hereby broken" She snarled. Calea had taken everything from her. And without telling her, Nemesis would return the favour.
Slowly she took her attack stance, ears flattened against her head, hackles raised. Lunging at Calea, she aimed at her neck with no remorse. She didn't particularly want to kill her, just yet. Death would be too easy a punishment. No, she would enjoy her revenge. Years of torment if need be.

Nemesis's words hit her. Hard. Every word was a blow, until something snapped and her words became fuel for her anger. Her tail raised and her stance became on of dominance. Her eyes hardened, and when Nemesis flattened her eyes and growled, Calea was ready. Almost. Her direct lunge caught her by surprise, and she twisted only quick enough so that Nemesis's lunge caught her side instead. With a pained growl, she recovered quickly enough to aim a heavy paw at her enemy's side.
A tiny hint of a scent caught on the breeze made her falter for a mere moment, but she shook it off and continued her attack.
*Akelia*
The teen watched the two face off with wide eyes, interested in the violence that she had never seen the likes of before. Sure, she had seen her mother take down prey before, but this was different. This was... exciting. She watched her mothers blood fall impassively, though she winced she did not look away.

Nemesis was surprised to how fast Calea recovered. She knew that Calea was a strong fighter, if anything and would not be taken down so easily. But she only wanted blood, and as the first few drops of Calea's fell to the ground, she smiled. Nemesis had trained, worked and lived alongside Calea and knew her tactics. However, she had changed. She didn't back down anymore and neither would Calea. So, she saw the attack before it hit her. Ducking out of the way just in time, she sprang up hoping to successfully pin down Calea before the girl did something stupid. But she couldn't help feeling watched. Glimpsing back to the bushes, she thought she saw a pair of eyes...a very familiar pair of eyes. It can't be, she whispered as a chill ran down her spine. But she averted her eyes and continued her attack. There was no room for emotions anymore. Especially not for him.
