Dust to dust.
*Akelia*
She watched the fading figure of her mother disappear into the the ash. Akelia could see only a faint outline of the fae now, until another fierce wind of ash and dust completely eradicated her from view. Turning from Calea, Akelia turned her bright gaze on Nemesis. The fae's fur was black, like hers. They had the same vibrant eyes, too. The traces of chocolate brown in Akelia's fur had all but disappeared.
She stood, and cautiously raised her head and stared and the dark fae. An interest was awakened in Akelia. Slowly, she rose and padded forward silently until she stood a short distance behind Nemesis. There, she waited silently for Nemesis to notice her, not wanting the approach her mothers former friend while she was this angry.

Angry, Nemesis let out a loud growl of annoyance. It was anger, but it was also confusement. Her instinct was to finnish Calea off, but something in her refused to do it. Blood needed to be shed, Nyx commanded it so. But Nemesis got the feeling she was being watched, again. She assumed it was Calea, back for another swing or an apology. That would so be her. Hastily spinning around, who she found looked nothing like Calea. Actually, a lot like her. She studied the pup in curiosity. Breathing in, she could smell the strong scent of Calea on her. Their scent was almost exactly alike. But her looks, and her eyes.. they were all too familiar. Not Calea's. Nevertheless, this was Calea's daughter, she came to the nasty conclusion. Too bad for you Calea. Can I be the first to apologize for your loss? She grinned evilly. "Hello little one. Straying a bit far from your mother now are you? You know, these moors..they can be quite damaging" She snarled the last part.

*Akelia*
Nemesis span around quickly, and studied her for a moment. Akelia held her head up and kept her stance firm and unmoving. Her grin unsettled her slightly, though she tried not to show it.
"Hello little one. Straying a bit far from your mother now are you? You know, these moors..they can be quite damaging"
Akelia sat, eyeing Nemesis. Strangely, she felt no need to fear this fae. "My mother worries to much. I have claws and teeth, she should know that I can defend myself." She was curios, and her mother never let her do anything out of the territory. She was sick of constant supervision, sick of being treated like a pup. Her eyes narrowed slightly, and a little angrily she said "I'm not little. I can take care of myself, these damaging moors don't scare me!" She sat a little taller, proud and defiant.

Nemesis smirked, she liked the spunk in the little girl. "I have a feeling that your mother feels differently" she smirked, thinking of an idea. The perfect revenge. "But I bet that in time, wolves far an wide will tremble in fear at your gaze, do you like the sound of that? I do" She coyly grinned. "If you want to get out of your mother's insufferable hold on you, I can help. All you have to do is ask" Nemesis would take this opportunity to induct Calea's daughter into her hold, a Beta in her dark pack eventually. Yes, this would be the best revenge. Taking Calea's only child.

Akelia gazed in awe at the fae as she spoke, feeling very grown up all of a sudden. What had she said, Nemesis, about coming here? Yes. A pack, a new pack. Which made her, the alpha. Almost as soon as she realized this Akelia dipped her head and lowered her tail a little, displaying submission toward Nemesis.
"But I bet that in time, wolves far an wide will tremble in fear at your gaze"
Akelia let a small smile grow on her muzzle. Yes, that would be very nice...respect. All her life she had been the pup, the looked down on, the weak one. But she wasn't that. Not anymore.
She slowly looked up, nodding.
"Yes Nemesis, show me. Teach me. I will do anything you ask of me."

Inside, Nemesis was grinning ear to ear, but for all the wrong reasons. When the girl finally figured that she was the Alpha, Nemesis had to give her credit for that. Respect was a good thing, no matter if you were a good or bad soul.
"Very well, meet me here at this exact spot tomorrow. And do not tell your mother" She instructed, sternly.
"But for now, tell me, what do you know of the Goddess Nyx?" She asked, wanting to first teach the girl what there was to know about the Night Mother. Nyx was their salvation in these times of light, and soon the plains would be surrounded with darkness. Nemesis started to walk, signaling for Akelia to follow her.

"Do not tell your mother"
Akelia nodded earnestly, eyes serious. She had not intention of telling her mother about anything that went on between her and the Dark fae. When Nemesis voiced her question and turned to walk on, Akelia was quick to catch up and follow. "Not much, Nemesis. Stories, a few. Is she...something to do with ravens?" Her mother had told her many stories as a pup, one or two which featured gods and goddesses and others of the like. Nyx was not a name that stood out to her especially, however. She fell neatly into step with the alpha, gazing up at her reverently. This was someone who was strong. Someone who broke the mold. Someone who, unlike all the other in her mother docile pack, stood up when she felt differently and made her own path. Though she knew not the woman's motives, she respected her, and therefore whatever they might be. Ash was rudely churned up by her paw steps, some settling in her fur and giving her a strange, ghostly look.
